From Malenadu Farms to Your Kitchen

Every Hebbail product begins with a place, Malenadu.

Malenadu is the lush Western Ghats region of Karnataka, home to green farms, forests, cattle, coconut groves, and traditional food practices passed down through generations. This is where we source many of the ingredients that eventually find their way into your kitchen.

For Hebbail, sourcing is not just about finding raw materials. It is about knowing where they come from and staying connected to the land and traditions behind them.

From Malenadu to Your Kitchen

Ghee begins with the farms: Our A2 Desi Cow Ghee is made using milk from indigenous cattle raised in the Malenadu region, following the traditional journey of milk → curd → butter → ghee.

Honey begins in the forests: Our Tuduve Honey comes from the natural forest landscapes of Malenadu. Its colour, aroma, and flavour can naturally vary with the season and the flowers available to the bees.

Jaggery begins with sugarcane: Our Alemane Jaggery follows the traditional Karnataka practice of crushing fresh sugarcane and processing the juice into jaggery at an alemane.

And then there is Appe Midi: Tender mangoes associated with Malenadu are combined with traditional spices to create a pickle that brings the distinctive tang and aroma of the region to your plate.

One Region. Many Stories.
